Amy Kirsch has always had a deep love of the Spanish language. While earning her B.A. in Psychology, she studied abroad for a year at the University of Seville in Spain. She has lived, worked and traveled in both Spain and Mexico for extended periods throughout her life. During the summers of 2016 and 2018, Amy lived in Guatemala while taking part in an intensive Spanish study program. She travels whenever possible to Spanish speaking countries and often does volunteer work while continuing to perfect her language skills. These experiences allow her to share cultural insights as she helps students become proficient in Spanish.
Amy is currently on the list of approved tutors for many local high schools and middle schools. She is a credentialed substitute teacher and has worked extensively in bilingual classrooms.
Amy’s approach is supportive and patient.
